Can I play any golf
course with my PMGC membership?
NO… PlayMyGolfCourse.com
is an online database of golfers. Through PlayMyGolfCourse.com
you can communicate with other golfers and ask if they would be kind enough
to host you at their golfcourse. They can say yes or no to you. PMGC
does not work with and is not affiliated with any golfcourses. PMGC
is not involved in booking tee times etc. PMGC
simply provides the means to contact other golfers that enjoy the hosting/being
hosted at various golf courses.
Do I have to host someone
when they contact me?
NO. You and only you choose to host another member.
We at PMGC would like to see as many hosting
enquiries as possible accepted, however, no one is ever forced to host anyone
else. In the spirit of the PMGC concept it’s
the welcoming host that makes this such a great service so we ask that all
members do their best to try to accommodate guests. If you can not host someone,
perhaps you could find another golfer at your club to host the person. If
you cannot host someone for whatever reason you simply need to politely decline
thier request.
If someone hosts me at
their club do I have to host them at mine?
NO.
I told someone about
PMGC and they signed up but I didn’t receive
my referral bonus of $25.
In order to receive your bonus, the person that you refer must either use
your username as thier promo code when signing up OR if they've visited the
PlayMyGolfCourse.com site by using the Unique Referral Url that contains your
id number. If they purchase a membership without using your unique url or
your username then the affiliate crediting system can not recognize that you
referred the person.
I was not happy with
the host that I played with last week.
We’re sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Better luck next time.
Unfortunately, PMGC is not responsible for misrepresentation
within a members’ profile or for their actions. You are solely responsible
for your interactions with other PlayMyGolfCourse.com
Members. PlayMyGolfCourse.com reserves the right,
but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Members.
You may, however, send an email describing your displeasure to complaints@playmygolfcourse.com
where it will be reviewed. PMGC would like every
meeting between members to be a good experience but alas we’d like to
end world hunger too.
I’ve been emailing another member requesting them to host me
but they won’t respond. I’d REALLY like to play at their course.
We understand your frustration. It would be nice if the member you’re
asking to host you would at least reply to say yes, no or maybe. They may
be too busy, getting too many requests or “ignoring you”. We suggest
to keep visiting to see if someone else has joined from that course or perhaps
updating YOUR profile to ensure that other members will want to host you.
If you’re profile says that you drink 20 beer each time you play and
throw clubs and are way to serious, we wouldn’t want to host you either.
:)
How do I pay at the person’s club who’s hosting me?
It should be listed in the person’s profile as to how much green fees
will cost you. In most cases the member that’s hosting you will have
to be at the cashier with you so that you get the proper guest fee discount
if applicable. Some clubs are account only (no cash allowed). In that case
you should enough cash on you to be able to pay your host as they would be
putting it on their account. We at PMGC should
be informed via our complaint department if you feel you “overpaid”
for your green fees. We frown upon the practice of making money off of hosting
someone.
How will I know the member that’s hosting me when I arrive at
their course.
We suggest to get a good description of the person or exchange cell phone
numbers in your communications with them before arriving. A great idea is
to buy one of our PlayMyGolfCourse.com’s
golf-shirts or caps and let the host member know you’ll be wearing it
when you show up. Hopefully they’ll have one too so you can recognize
them. You can purchase PlayMyGolfCourse.com merchandise by clicking
here and visiting our Our Online Store.
I want to cancel my membership,
too many people are requesting that I host them and I just don’t have
the time.
We’re sorry to hear that you are not enjoying your PMGC
membership services. Please feel free to modify, “suspend” or
delete your profile. “Modify” - Explain in your profile that you
are available at only certain times of the year to host and not to bother
requesting you to host if at any other time. OR “Suspend” -you
can choose to hide your profile and turn it on only at certain times. OR “Delete”
– remove your profile from the PMGC database
by notifying us that you no longer wish to have a PMGC membership.
If you have any other
questions that you would like answered before or after you have signed up,
please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department via email
by clicking here or writing toinfo@playmygolfcourse.com.
